Political Conference Championships - One Week Away

The 2010 Super Bowl is now history, but within the political stadium the “Conference Championships” are fast approaching.  These will be played out over a period of two weeks, beginning February 16th, with the start of Early Voting.  On Tuesday, March 2, the conference champions from the “Republican and Democrat Conferences” will be determined.  Then the participants for the “Super Bowl of US Politics” will be set for November.

There is a very big difference between the NFL Super Bowl and the fight for the freedoms of our nation to be played out in the political arena.  The Saints and Colts worked hard for their chance to play a game that provides bragging rights, fame, and fortune.  Fans align behind a team based on a number of reasons, such as, uniform design, the most handsome quarterback, underdog status, sportscasters’ favorites, or a deep love for their hometown team.   But, we must remember football is a sport, and the Super Bowl is just a game.

It’s not a game within the political realm.  To choose the right nominees for the November ballot is critical to the future and survival of our nation.  Within Congressional District 29, Congressman Gene Green has turned against his own base.  Now is the time to select the Republican nominee for CD 29 who will be in position to replace liberal Green in the November general election.

Sanctity of Human Life

Sanctity of Human Life - Sunday January 24, 2010

Today we are remembering the 50 million innocent lives that have been terminated for the sake of comfort and convenience. The legalization of abortion, a decision made by a very liberal Supreme Court that viewed itself as God, has brought to our nation a holocaust 11 times larger than the murders perpetrated by Hitler during his reign of terror. Many of these innocent babies actually faced a more horrific death than most of the Jewish victims under Hitler.

Two weeks ago, Haiti was devastated by a 7.0 earthquake. As we should have, America and many other nations responded immediately in order to save lives. As a result, many lives have been saved. Thousands of severely wounded have been treated and will return to normalcy in the near future. Great organizations such as Feed the Children and Convoy of Hope have responded to meet the physical needs such as food and care for orphaned children. These are steps a great people take when called upon.

Sanctity of Life Response

Mr. Story, this is one of the most intelligent recent discussions I've read. The abortion issue is overwhelmingly evil insanity. I have no idea how God has so mercifully withheld massive judgment on this nation.Houston is certainly standing on shaky ground, with a 78,000 square-foot building dedicated to murdering innocent babies. Repent and stop this now, Americans!

Eric Story - The Activist

Why should I cast my vote for Eric Story?

Commitment - Eric is a native born Texan who holds dear the meaning of commitment, upholding one’s word, and keeping oaths. Along with his wife of 35 years, Eric has 2 children and 5 grandchildren to whom he remains committed. He has lived, worked, and raised his family in Congressional District 29.  As your neighbor, he knows well the concerns you have for your family and community.  When he makes a commitment to you, you can depend on him.

Community Involvement through Volunteerism – Over the past 15 years Eric has worked in a volunteer capacity with gang members, runaways, throwaway teens, homeless adults, prisoners, and immigrants.  He has spoken to children concerning applying themselves and staying in school.  Eric rides with the Patriot Guard, honoring those who have given their lives for our freedoms.  In addition, he rides with the Texas Honor Ride to raise funds that benefit our wounded heroes.

Weekly Update on the Eric Story for Congress Campaign

We have just completed another busy but great week.

Sunday afternoon, November 15, 2009, we were blessed to share in the homegoing celebration of a well respected local pastor from Pasadena.  Pastor Pat founded the church where we celebrated his life just a short time back.  There were friends in attendance from across the area sharing ways in which this Man of God personally touched their lives.  Even though I had only met Pastor Pat 2 weeks earlier, I knew immediately that he was truly sold out to his Savior, Jesus.  Even in his death, he touched the life of several as they asked Jesus to become their personal Savior at the memorial service.

Update on the Story for Congress Campaign

Last night was a great evening with singers Eduardo Casas, Lisa Drout, and Lucy as Elvis. I would like to thank those of you that made it out to the meeting for your support. I would also like to thank those of you that contacted us to let us know you were standing with us but just could not make it. We are in a very busy season for all.

We received generous contributions for the campaign that will be used to win this seat. All in all we enjoyed a great evening with family and friends.

As promised last night, we are providing information on the upcoming Copenhagen Conference and Treaty that has been proposed that is set to usurp our sovereignty and our constitution. Of course this type of move is nothing new for this administration.

Statement

Eric Story championed the cause to retire Gene Green from Congress in 2006 and 2008.  For years he has worked hard to provide Texas Congressional District 29 with the opportunity to be represented in Washington.  It is time that "We the People" were represented rather than a Party or big money.  Let's work together to make sure we elect a man that understands the constitution, our party platform, and has a backbone. There has been no decision at this point on Eric's part, but several names have come up as being ready to oppose the democrat candidate for the ballot in November.

Our Mission

Our mission is to send Gene Green into retirement.  It is that simple.  Green has long been a closet liberal and now his true colors are showing.  As the biggest advocate for Socialized Medicine in Texas, Green has also turned his back on his constituents when he voted for Cap and Trade which has already resulted in the loss of thousands of jobs in the area.  FIRE GENE GREEN NOW!   The rumor is that Gene Green is going to step aside and newly elected, pro-illegal, Sheriff Adrian Garcia is going to take his place.  Yes, this is the same Adrian Garcia that has welcomed AlJazeera (the global mouthpiece of radical Islam) into Harris County.
